The University of Florida has several maintenance items and improvements to be completed at and adjacent to the Newins-Ziegler Park. The improvements consisted of 275ft of concrete pedestrian walkway through the park with concrete pads for park benches and trash cans along with a central circular plaza for picnic tables adjacent to the wetland sink and the GREBE Garden for Birds. Two new bus stop shelters were installed and maintenance items included the spot repairs of pavement with root damage and sinking curbs, and a manhole frame that split and was sunken below the pavement. The pedestrian walkway was within the buffer to the wetlands and was permitted with the SJRWMD.

Santa Fe College Athletics Hitchcock Family Clubhouse
The Hitchcock Family Clubhouse located at the SFC fields on the Northwest Campus. The new locker room facility for Santa Fe baseball and softball teams will provide the first ever locker rooms for SF baseball and softball student-athletes, with umpire changing space, shower facilities, laundry capabilities, and an upgraded training area to service all student-athletes at both fields. It is expected to open in the Spring of 2027.

Sumter County School District (SCSD) needed a new cafeteria adjacent to the existing Administration Building. The new building of 19,000sf with 2,000sf of outdoor covered seating area and all located between existing buildings
